CORE VALUES
Inspired Word Church has six core values which reflect Biblical foundational principles under Jesus Christ.
We value God's Word
The Bible is God's complete, inherent and infallible Word. As a church, we use the Bible as the foundation for all teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16-17; Rev. 22:18-19; Jn. 17:17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
We value Godly Leadership
All leadership should be grounded in Biblical truth and principles leading to Godly character. (Titus 1:6-9; Acts 20:28-30; Matt. 24:24; 2 Tim. 4:3-5; Heb. 13:7) We value the responsibility given to us as stewards of God's resources to support His Church. (1 Pet. 4:10; Gal. 6:7-10)
We value Biblical Fellowship
Biblical fellowship (koinonia) stems from authentic relationships among the Church body, as a direct reflection of our relationship with Christ. As a church, we strive to establish strong fellowship amongst believers and their families. (Acts 2:42; 1 Jn. 4:7; 1 Jn. 1:6-7; Col. 2:2; Gal. 6:10; I Cor. 12:12)
We value Outreach
Jesus spoke of this in the Great Commission in which God calls the Church to share the gospel with all people, locally and globally. (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)
We value Worship
It is essential to attribute worth to God by worshiping our Lord - both corporately and individually. We do this by dedicating praise to God in acknowledgement for His attritbutes, all that He does and continues to do. (Col. 3:15-17; Ro. 12:1-2; Ps. 96:4-9; Eph. 3:20-21)
We value Prayer
God calls us, as His Church, to continually communicate with Him. We do this by bringing all things to Him through prayer in accordance to His Word. (Phil. 4:6; 1 Thess. 5:17-18; Col. 4:2)
